Privacy Policy

1. Lab work on your device

The skin lab uses browser local storage to remember dissection progress, the current lesson, optional typed answers, and any name or class period you enter. The lab does not upload these entries to our server or automatically send them to your teacher. Downloading or printing a report creates a copy that you control and can choose to share.

This saved information remains in that browser until it is cleared. Other people using the same browser profile may see it. On a shared computer, save any work you need, then use the lab’s Clear notebook & start over control and confirm. You can also clear this website’s site data in your browser settings. Reset Hand does not erase written answers. Clearing the notebook or site data will also remove saved lab progress.

Students can follow the science-journal activities without entering their name or answers online. Do not enter private medical information, passwords, or other sensitive details in lab responses.

2. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond and handle your request. Email is handled through Gmail. Do not email student records or sensitive personal information unless an appropriate, secure process has been arranged.

3. Website operation and teacher access

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request times to deliver the website, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors. The site is hosted using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure.

The private teacher workspace uses an essential, secure session cookie after a successful sign-in. The session lasts up to eight hours. Access protection also keeps a temporary sign-in attempt counter. These protections are separate from the student lab’s device-local notebook.

4. Videos, embedded activities, and links

Some pages load YouTube videos through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain. Escape-room pages load an activity hosted on a separate site. Loading or using embedded content connects your browser to that provider, which may receive technical information and use cookies or similar storage. Privacy-enhanced video embedding does not mean that no information is exchanged.

5. Advertising and your choices

Current status: As of this policy’s update date, we have applied for Google AdSense. This website has verification information in place, but AdSense ad-serving code has not been enabled.

If Google ads are enabled, Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies to show ads based on earlier visits to this and other websites. Google advertising cookies can allow Google and its partners to personalize those ads.

You can manage personalized Google advertising through My Ad Center. Participating third-party vendors also offer choices through YourAdChoices. Where an advertising consent message is shown, use its consent and manage-options controls. Browser settings also let you manage cookies and site data; blocking storage can affect saved lab progress or sign-in.

6. Students and classroom use

These resources are designed for high-school anatomy learning and general education. A student account is not required to use the public skin lab. Follow your teacher’s directions and your school’s technology rules. Parents, guardians, and teachers can contact us with concerns about information shared with the site.

7. Questions, requests, and updates

For privacy questions or requests concerning information you have sent us, contact anatomyinminutes@gmail.com. We may need enough information to verify and understand a request. We cannot retrieve or erase lab work stored only in your browser; use the lab’s clear-notebook control or your browser’s site-data controls for that.
